The job has a lot to offer: from the assembly of individual components to the assembly of the full machine. On top of that you also get to carry out assembly, site acceptance and training at customer sites across the globe. I have now been working at SMS for 20 years. A lot has changed and the company has grown massively. There are now over 80 employees and we produce machines developed by SMS itself. The offer of dual study in engineering in cooperation with the Albstadt-Sigmaringen University gives you the chance to expand on your theoretical knowledge with practical experience alongside. The content of our apprenticeship is tailored to support your theoretical knowledge and we also provide a bursary during your study (4 1/2 years).
